Lost Horizon

I've just got around to playing this wonderful game & have got stuck. I've gone through the maze into the castle but Fenton keeps saying he hopes he hasn't missed anything. I came across a skeleton but all I want to know is how many other items are hidden in the maze?

There's just one item that you need find and pick up along the way in the maze. It's in the area you're at with the skeleton, if that's any help.
