The Raven Chap. 1

Hi All- I am very stuck with this game - I am on the ship after the murder - The Doc threw me out of the medical room. I spoke with LeGrand who wants the bullet from the body, I found out about the drugged drink I took - I spoke to everyone multiple times - I don't know how to get the bullet - the Doc went to his room and I cannot get into the medical room OR the baroness's room. All I have in inventory are stones and ice-tongs.

What do I need to do now?

Hmm. The walkthrough says that you need to crack the seal in order to enter the Baroness's room - have you tried to do that?

Hi Marian - Yes - each time I try to enter her room, Zellner says he should get permission from Legrande etc - and I get no other options.

I hope this is not a bug - I had a similar problem in the train when I greased up the curtain first BEFORE the alcohol - I could not undo it ! I had to start over before the fire.

I like to think that I just missed something which I can do now - I just cannot figure what ! Can I get to the Doc somehow?

Check your inventory to see if the bullet is there automatically after the doctor threw out of the medical bay. you said you only have the ice tongs and the stones.

In that case, Legrand has to give you more dialogue to get you inside the medical bay and the baroness' cabin. Also the captain's dialogue should trigger another path of action.

MaG! I don't have the bullet. I exhausted all dialog with Capt DiConti, Lady Westmacott, the Bobbi, and Lagrand. He asks me about the bullet and sends me away. The Med bay is closed and I cannot do anything with the Baroness's room. I think I hit an impasse that there is no action for ! Very irritating !

Is it possible I could get a saved gave? My last save was a while ago because of all the dialog I had to endure - :>(( sorry - just not a dialog type of gamer!

This was the 2nd time I hit an impasse because I may have done something "out of turn"!

This bullet thing is one of the most horrible adventure game bugs in existence. I don't know if there was an update on Steam for this bug, but the retail version didn't get a patch, that's for sure.

By the way, I just checked - you don't need to put alcohol on the torch, the grease is enough, so in that case at least the bug ins't a showstopper so there was no need to start from an earlier save At least this is the situation in the retail version.
