The Lost Crown Enhanced - Achievements

Hi Everyone

I haven't posted in quite a while.

I'm not sure if this post should be here or in Hints. If I picked the wrong location, please move me over to hints.

I've been playing the enhanced version on Steam and I'm having some problems getting the achievements to unlock. I don't know if it's something I'm doing wrong or if there's a bug in the game.

I needed one last photo and EVP, and I got them at the bathtub. When I added them to my evidence only Spirit Voices unlocked, Phantom Photomaster didn't unlock even though all slots in the photo album are complete.

I correctly identified the Saxton Skeleton, Nigel commented on it, but the Saxton Sherlock achievement didn't unlock.

So far I've found 10 plants and flowers in the country lane, and I can't seem to locate any additional. I even went back I re-picked the plants that I used in the stew. If you managed to unlock the Hedge Wych achievement, how many plant and flowers do you find?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Hi Q,

It might be better to ask at the Steam forum about those achievements. I presume it is a Steam exclusive to have the achievements.

Maybe someone playing the game will also jump in to help us.

Since we all love a good adventure game, I thought that someone might be playing the enhanced version on Steam, and have a little insight into my achievement dilemma.

From what I could gather on Steam, I'm not the only player with the Phantom Photomaster problem, as the global achievement for that so far is 0%.

So I'll wait and see if any more of Nigel's friends drop by with thoughts on the matter.

But 'Saxton Skeleton' and 'Phantom Photomaster' are two achievements that do not work as for now. I have written to both Jonathan Boakes and Iceberg Interactive, so there is a hope they will be fixed.

All other achievements are obtainable! There are ten flowers and plants to collect, as I recall, - and the only strange thing with them is that 'Hedge Wych' was unlocked for me not after collecting all the plants, but after cooking the stew.

I thought that the Phanton Photomaster achievement was not functional, due to the global achievement showing as 0%, so I also wrote to Iceberg about it.

I wasn't sure about the Saxton Sherlock. I thought I just might be doing something incorrectly, as some players indicated that it had unlocked for them.

Hedge Wych has me puzzled. I seem to have done the same things as you, but it didn't unlock for me. I tried a second time from a saved game, and it still didn't unlock.

I got my «Hedge Wych» after awhile; just went, wandering, and then it - boom! - appeared
As, however, and some other achievements in this game do not appear immediately, but some time later.

qadventuregames, maybe you were right. Jonathan Boakes himself has those two achievements unlocked in his Steam profile!
But not the rest of us unfortunately... Could it be that some secret action is required?
