Broken Age

It is the final movement to repair the hexipal in order to leave the planet. but I cann't connect the wires in the correct order. Shay always says the wire is not long enough. What I'm supposed to do?

Do you have all 3 wires? Blue , yellow and red.
Do you also know the pattern to connect the wires?

I have the wire Carol gave me after I give her the fish.The pattern that I get are some triangles yellow, blue, red. How I proceed?
