Shady Brook

Does anyone have a hint on how to clean the dirty mirror? I took some tissues from the barber shop but they have since disappeared from my inventory. A little help would be appreciated

Unfortunately I can't find a full walkthrough for the game. I played this game years ago when it first came out and don't remember the answer as to how to clean the dirty mirror.

What mirrors are you talking about? Do you mean the mirrors by the brook area?

MaG didn't make a walkthrough for the original game because the developer was selling a walkthrough along with the game.

I have a vague memory of not being able to clean a mirror in the original 2005 game until a certain point in the game. But I could be confusing it with another game. It's been over ten years since I played it. I have a vague memory of a mirror in a closet. Or are you talking about a different one?

Maybe the game is deliberately preventing you from using the tissues without first wetting them with cleaning solution (or water) first? This is a complete guess. Can you get more tissues from the barber shop? Or wet them there?

I assume you're playing the remake. The guide for the original game has something about mirrors along a nature path, but I don't think you need to clean those. The section about the barber shop in the guide says nothing about picking up tissues in the barber shop so you may have to use something else to wipe the mirrors in the closet (assuming the puzzle is the same and I'm not mis-remembering).

I think the new version of the game is quite a bit different than the original. Yes, it is the three mirrors you have to place by the brook. I did try to get more tissues but all he says is "never again". I was able to get them the first time but when i clicked on them they disappeared.....Hopefully someone else has played the new version of this game. In the mean time, I will keep searching.....

A very easy oversight to make CountZero but just to eliminate - did you try the next page of the inventory? (I've missed doing that myself!)
