Hi Samuel, it's been more than 10 years since I have played this game and I remember almost nothing about it - that probably says more about me than it does about the game. lol

There is a video here which shows the chains being cut by the bolt cutters - the relevant part starts at around 11:25 in the video - see if that helps at all. It shows the inventory opening, getting the bolt cutters, etc...

Marian,i made a google search, about my problem, after all it came up with good results, showing me the very same problem
from another person,from a long time ago,at gameboors,so i clickt on it,and someone gives an answer,the answer is,to cut
the chains, you must be very close to it,if not it will not work
therfore go back into the crane, and move the crate closest to
the chains crate, the person who asked it,said he did so and it
worked,so i did the very same thing, and it also worked, from now
on before posting a problem with a game,i will make a search at
gameboomers itself,this may help also

That's excellent, samuel - I thought the problem might have something to do with where and how things were positioned; in fact, I now have a vague recollection that I encountered the same difficulty when I played the game years ago.

And yes, if you are stuck in a game somewhere, searching old posts on GameBoomers first is a good idea; I do that myself at times. If there is a tricky part in a game, chances are that someone else has had the same problem and has posted about it already.

I hope you enjoy the rest of the game. wave
