The House of Da Vinci

Hi, I need a save game file for the telescope puzzle.-Chapter 7.
I took a break and left the game.
Went back in and now I can't get out of the closeup and try to finish the puzzle. I don't want to redo the chapter again.
Looks like a bug, on Windows 8 pc any fixes?

Please help if there is a save game file and how to use it.

I have no saved games for this game, nor do I know of anyone who does.

But we can wait and see if anyone shows up who can help.

I found a Steam thread here which may or may not pertain to your problem - I am not sure because I am unfamiliar with the game.

Is it possible to load an earlier saved game? I'm not familiar with this one either.

I found that one too and also the Steam thread of a bug in the game which you can not go past Chapter 7.

Oh my that was 2018 !!!!!!

I had hope that someone on a PC could have gone past that point without the bug showing up or getting through the spot.

Maybe someone will show up who can help you out. I'm sorry this happened to you.

I played this game 3 or 4 times and I don't remember ever having any problem that caused me not to be able to finish the game. I was not playing the Steam version. There was no manual saving when you guit. When you started a new session, the only option you had from the main menu was "Continue", which put you back where you were when you quit the previous session. After you had started, you did have the option to "Restart Chapter" from the in-game menu. No manual saving from the in-game menu either.

Unfortunately there are no save games as such, the only save available is the one when you quit the game.
I played this game and I got stuck like you a couple of times, I do not remember if it is the same place as you, on one occasion I tried Windowed mode and that helped, on the other occasion that did not help but going into Graphic options and lowering All the Specs. ex: Texture from High to Low, Shadows from On to Off, etc.
Don't know if this really helped or it was my mad mouse clicking everywhere that worked, but it did work, guess I was lucky.

After finishing The House of DaVinci 2 and loving it I had to go back and replay the first one (loved it too) which I am in the Tower now. I am not sure what Telescope puzzle you mean. Do you have a screen shot of where you are stuck?
