Scratches

Hello. Here I am again. I am replaying the game Scratches and am really stuck at the point where you have to fetch the properly numbered or spelled out the baby's name, Robin. I have followed all I have to do to get that far. I retrieved the small key to the box in the study drawer with a coded number to open the box. I have done and redone this bit so many times I have gone back to earlier parts, but I have managed to get as far as Monday 12PM. I am aware that the clock in the hall being at the right time lets you know you have done all you have to. I really cannot understand what I have done wrong but just cannot get the child's blocks to give me the number so I can continue on with the game? Please help if you can.

There is a full-game video walkthrough here. This is the Director's Cut, which you may or may not have, but this should not make any difference to helping you figure out what the problem is.

You will need to find where you are in the game, of course - and hopefully you will be able to figure out what you have missed by watching this playthrough.
