Atlantis-Lost Tales - 04/05/03 11:41 PM

I have been caught and imprisoned or killed about 50 times so far trying to get to the old womans cave. I am following Wm. van der Veldens walk through and the instructions of how to turn in order to escape aren't all that clear. I have done everything to try to find a path to run down. Do I go through the bushes?? Please help me get to the old woman.

Help please. I am at the crab puzzle and I try to "drop" my crab but it does not move. I picked up the rope, what do I do with it? How do I get my crab to move or do I just leave it alone and it moves on its own? I am completely stumped by what it means by "Drop your crab". I do and it just sits there. Any help, Billy Bob? I do Red, white, brown and I always lose and then I get killed. Help, help, help!

While waiting for BillyBob, this is what one of the 3 wts I checked stated - Drop the crab just below the other one when the king counts "three". If I remember correctly, you just let the crab do its thing - you just watch if it wins or not.

As for the rope, it is needed later in another puzzle.

Thanks for the quick response. I do drop on the count of three and the stupid crab just sits there! I have to be doing something wrong! Actually I am surprised that I have got this far in this game. It isn't like the other Atlantis games I have played and the "saves" are never where you are so you have to replay a lot of scenes sometimes.

I'm wondering - I just saw a picture of the crabs and maybe the colored red crab might be mistaken for another color. I noted that there is a dark brown and light reddish-brown one. Try picking one of the other reddish crab. That might work.

The wt is in another language and am just looking at the picture and cannot translate the wt at all.

Hi,

I've been trying to translating the Swedish wt. It seems that the color doesn't matter in this wt but wins with the red ones. Drop the crab on the starting place and when the King counts to three, click to get your crab going.

Hope that helps.

My memory is really vague on this, but I think you're right about the actions, Mags--drop your crab and then click on it to get it moving...

Thanks. I can tell the colors better if I look before I zoom in and that is what I am going by. The red one looks brown when you zoom in and the brown one looks reddish. I suppose the bluish white one is always the white one. If anyone else has a suggestion I will appreciate it. Also I have not been clicking on my crab to start it moving. I will try that. Pray for me.

For any one else that may be playing this game at some time, I offer this about the crab race- I think it must be different in some games because I read three wts and one said the color doesn't matter as long as you win three times first. Two said-red,white, brown. Mine I won with white, red brown. It is a matter of trial and error. Now I am at the end game and trying to destroy the octopus like creature. I keep getting killed. Does anyone know what "hole" I am supposed to go into or wher the glass ball is on the floor for me to click my blue hand on?

Hole - Did you see where Creon entered on the wall? That is the hole.

The crystal is in the Skull room - you dropped it there on the floor.

You start the end game with Creon trying to shoot you in the skull room. You use the crystal on the gun he is using. Then he escapes through a hole. You follow. You are attacked by something weird - you use your crystal power on its head.
Go back to the skull room again. Take the crystal ball that dropped there when Creon attacked you.

I finished the game! It is a good game except for the saves. And be sure to remember your way to get back to certain places you have been before. I really appreciate your help. Thank God for Gameboomers!
