TG2 virus

Hi all,
I can't seem to get the virus. I thought I had it but when I completed the game my message was that the mission had failed. I then went to every computer in the room and on none of them did the download differ.
I checked out MaGs excellent walkthrough so I now know which is the right machine. Yet I still can't get a successful download. The computer has a tall and a squat "box" and I thought perhaps that I was standing in the wrong spot and reading the wrong one, but I can't find a second action spot. Raven always looks like he has his hand over the squat box and is standing almost dead centre of the desk.
I started to wonder whether this was a randomised thing, but restarting from just before I enter this room never gets me a different result.
What am I doing wrong?

You have to open the screen across the correct computer.

Stand on the footpad facing the wall, use the Professor-scientist's eye scan on it (the only one that would open the screen).
The screen should open.
Then use the diskbucker on the computer.
The screen will show the programming.
A highlighted part will cause Raven to say something about finding the virus.

PS: Still trying the elevator your way. UGH!

Well done MaG - didn't doubt you for a second.
I have the big screen open, and I get a scroll of greenish words on the screen when Raven tries to download, but he never says anything about finding the virus.

There are 2 rooms that have these screens. One is at Lab 2 and the other that you need is at the professor's room (back end table).
