Journey to Center of Earth - Fix the Horn

I have been all over the place, but can't get the lieutenant to ask me to repair the horn. What can I do? I provided his friend with a splint already.

Have you looked-examined the conch and have her say that it is broken first?

No, she wouldn't say that. I've had her stand at the conch repeatedly. I went ahead and fixed the horn (thank you walk-throughs!!!) but no, she hadn't said that it was broken at any point.

Ginger did you give the injured man the pain pills in your inventory? If you don't have any water with you, you'll have to go back and get it.
Have you repaired/replaced the crystal for Adam already?

Where do you get the water??

Severity, to get the water, go back to the beach that is by the old mine entrance. There is a lone rock down by the water--click the empty flask from inventory on that rock and it will be filled with water...
