Discworld Noir help

Hi gang,I`ve just started this game and I need help already,so can someone tell me how I can get Nobby in the Cafe to tell me where Pseudopolis Yard is?I keep talking to him,but he just repeats everything.PLIZZZ? Beerhead

Hi Beerhead - got it - you need to ask Nobby about the Milka - he then tells you about some mysterious murders and that should put the Yard on the map -

Syd,I reinstalled the game at full installation,now I cant even get the captain to get me to the Ankh cafe.What is wrong???

Hi Beerhead - it's the first mate that tells you the captain is at the Cafe Ankh and you have to ask if you can come on board. Right now I don't remember the exact coversation tree that the statement comes up at. Use both the face icon and talking about the Milka or it could be about the passengers in the notebook and see if Captain Jenkin's name comes up. If you're still having problems - I saved right after Nobby told me about the yard - I can send it to you if nothing else works.
