Lighthouse- Diving Pod

I've arrived at the Island Fortress. I went down into the diving pod.
I can't get anything to work. The only thing that moved was the lever to close the hatch and the robotic arm. Am I missing something?

Well, if you are indeed at the island fortress, this is not the place to use the mini-sub. You have plenty of things to do here, but all of them are outside the boat.

The mini-sub is used at another location, called the Shipwreck. That episode is entirely underwater.
