Zelenhgorm - Location of 4 stones? Eggs?

<img border="0" alt="[santa]" title="" src="graemlins/santa.gif" /> I have talked to the two guards once (to avoid going to jail.) Am I in wrong place? The only walkthrough available says to turn around and you will see four stones from with to make etchings? I assume this is not the big one with the symbols. Can't find the stones...can't find the steps to go up and get a view. Played this game twice to this point as I accidentally talked to one of the guards earlier. What a lot of work!

Also,was unable to find location to purchase eggs,
have chicken...but do I need eggs? Where are they?

Yes, you're in the wrong place. I think (game's no longer on my harddisk) that you must cross the bridge at the end of the village. There's one guard standing in front of a big building. You can sketch the four stones if you like, but it's pretty useless. At least, in this episode. To the right of the building you'll find the view you're looking for. You do need the eggs and you can buy them at the market.

Hi Guys..Thanks for the tips, but I figured out the inventory. You put one item from inventory up on the screen in close up (like the candles) and then you drap the second item (like the firestarter) up to it and release the mouse. Works just great. The hang up for me here was that this was the first time I had to combine inventory items and the firestarter looks (to me) like a galvanized can full of junk........LOL
