Thief 3 Placing Artifacts

I've collected the five artifacts and I only have the crown and the eye to place. The eye seems to be last. Objectives says to place the Crown in the storage area at the base of the clocktower, but I can't anything. I thought it would be in the area where people were talking about how the tower could have fallen on them. I think I've searched the entire map!

Anybody help?

I haven't got that far yet, but it sounds like the area near the gargoyle where you entered the clocktower the first time.

Yeah, the courtyard was the first place I looked but the entrance isn't there anymore since the "incident" which I won't spoil for you.

Nevermind, I found it. It's in the eastern map of Stonemarket Plaza at it's closest point to the tower which doesn't look at all like "at the base of the Clocktower" to me. Those maps are deceiving.

The maps are very decieving...if they dont have a compass point they are useless!...I think anyway...........
