I played the game years ago and really wasn't madly impressed - and not THAT long afterwards it started to appear for sale at the ridiculous "rare game" prices some games attract

I'm extremely sceptical that this current one is actually "new"

I got delivery on a used one that was for sale and it was the real thing.

Can't say it was the most enjoyable game I have ever played, but was okay.

I ordered one from the Amazon Marketplace a few months ago and it was brand-new and still in the shrinkwrap, boxed--and the total price was about $11.

Someone must have found a stash - it was awful expensive a while back

Being a longtime user/watcher of eBay, I can say for almost a certainty that there were folks who scooped up several copies at this price on the Amazon Marketplace and then turned around and sold them for nearly a hundred dollars on eBay, knowing that many would not know about this Amazon Marketplace seller. This guy on Amazon has been selling these for over a year now, so he had a really big stash.
