Where did you order your game from, monbron? I ordered from Amazon, and their release date is still on schedule for 9th October.

I ordered the last Nancy Drew from Amazon and I didn’t get it until about 10 days after the release date! Free shipping is a great deal but it does NOT motivate Amazon to get you your game on time.

This time I think I'll just do it the old-fashioned way and get it from Best Buy.

Just ordered the game from Dave at interact. Dave just shipped the game. Sure is fast.

I agree with Richard. I ordered mine from Interact after reading Betty Lou's post (thanks Betty Lou) and honestly within 30 minutes of ordering I got the email that it had been shipped. Dave is the best. I was so awed I just had to send him an email telling him how great he is. And....he took the time out of his busy schedule to email be back. Now that is GREAT customer service. THANKS DAVE!!!! You truly are the BEST!

I've just emailed Amazon.ca to see when they will be receiving their inventory because it's not yet available for preorder. If they can't give me a definite answer, I'll order from Dave at InteractCD as well.

I received mine yesterday(Sat.)from Dave at Interact. I live down the road from him in Calif. so get mine really fast, and yes he's the greatest

Out of curiosity for those who received it and might have started it, are the graphics any good?

Because the trailer&mini game make them look bad; pixelated almost.

Dunno if this is my computer screen, but it is worrying since it looks like the graphics would look better smaller-- it should look fine full screen though. Even the larger screencaps don't look fantastic...

I wonder whether it has anything to do with compression or something? I hope, because it looks really disappointing otherwise...

In retrospect, it might have been because I was just playing Arkham Asylum on xbox, but is it just me?

Mine arrived from Her Interactive today, a day earlier than I expected! (Probably because we're both in the Seattle area.) Installing right now--so excited.

So far so good! I only played about an hour last night but liking it FAR better than Ransom.

I pre-ordered mine from Her Interactive as I always do. Mine is due to arrive by UPS this Friday the 9th!

Well that's a relief to hear! (: Gotta wait until I can download it on the 13th though. ;D

I was extremely disappointed in Ransom, so it doesn't surprise me one bit that you're liking this one far better after only playing for an hour !

Dave shipped my copy of Warnings at Waverly Academy on Monday, so I should receive it next Tuesday or Wednesday. It normally takes 5 or 6 business days to make its way to the Great White North and Monday is the Canadian Thanksgiving, so there is no mail delivery !

Nancy arrived safe and sound the day after I posted this thread! WOW, good work Dave and thanks. I have not started it yet, as Catsmom called and may be coming in to see us next week and we will start it together on my computer...hope to get hers at Target when she gets here. Have fun
