Great news for those that are playing Conspiracies II or those that have hesitated purchasing because of the difficulty, Anima has listened and is working on a patch that will be released next month that will allow you to highlight the items if you can't locate them.

Kudos to Anima-PpD for listening to gamers and taking their feedback to heart!

Are they talking about an active cursor or just hitting a key and all objects on the screen are highlighted? I hope it just the active cursor because thats all it needs.

THey are still exploring the possibilities, but at the moment it is leaning towards an indicator on the item when you pass the cursor over it that you can pick it up.

I will take Active Cursors for 200 please!

I just suggested both ways to them and they just answered and said that it will likely end up with an active cursor area and a key that reveals hotspots. Life will be good for all.

I see that Dave at Ineract is offering this game now. However after reading about a patch being needed is it adviseable to wait before I purchase this game? I don't want to order it and then have problems playing....thanks for any input.

The patch will be a downloadable patch. You can get the game now and download the patch when it's released.

If I have this right the Patch is not to repair any defect in the game, in fact the game works very well as long as your computer meets the requirements. What the Patch is evidently for is to make the cursor "active" and possibly have a hotspot "highlighter" to help you. Its a Patch that is not needed to play the game but only there if you want the above help.

Years ago the same thing was done for the game Lighthouse: The Dark Being where the cursor was made to be "active" after the game was originally released because players thought it would help.

Just didn't want anyone getting the wrong idea that there was something wrong with this game that it needed to be patched.

You got that right Kjos...still trying to get into Detronics building.

I was hoping that my post describing the reason for the patch gave the impression that it is an enhancement and not an error patch. I also would hate for someone to think it is a necessary fix.

Will the patch work with the existing Saves?

Tried to download the patch but nothing happened.
Clicked on the patch,wouldn't download.

Same thing happened to me Kjos. I had better luck with the link on their Forum page HERE

GreyFuss ,just downloaded the patch and it really works good. Works on saves. Found one item that I didn't know was there.
