I liked the look of this game and downloaded it but I can't get it to run properly.

So I've contacted the developer (and sent my machine specs) and have my fingers crossed for a solution.

It runs OK on my Win 7 computer.

Did you just download, unzip and then double click on the round blue "application" icon, Chief ??

That's what I did. But instead of going to a "start the game" screen I just got a screen showing a letter.
I couldn't interact with the letter nor could I escape the screen.
And ended up having to use Task Manager to get back to Desktop

Mad, I did click the application and went directly to the game.

I also contacted the developer to see if she can help on the Forums.

Well the developer did reply to me and offer help - which was much appreciated

However, as it turned out, I didn't need to actually try any of the suggestions because in the meantime I had decided to re-download the game files - and this second download worked perfectly !!
What went wrong with the original downloas is a mystery but I do now have a working game

I've only just been able to get back to my computer to report - but I have now emailed my thank you to the developer and also, of course, to you, Chief
