Teaser Trailer released for The Last Crown: Blackenrock

Haarlem, The Netherlands – 25 September 2015 – Publisher Iceberg Interactive and developer Darkling Room have released a teaser trailer today for their highly anticipated ghost-hunting adventure game The Last Crown: Blackenrock. The new game is part of a trio of sequels to the scary first game The Lost Crown, available on Steam since last year.

Iceberg Interactive CEO Erik Schreuder says: “Darkling Room have been working on the trio of sequels simultaneously. What if the very gadgets we use to 'hunt' ghosts provide a conduit, a portal, to their world, the ghost world?! Imagine an existence that sits alongside ours, invisible, like dark matter, but it occasionally 'seeps' into our world, creating ghost sightings and apparitions.

Do we, in turn, appear in their world, the past? Perhaps our appearance generates the very story that we are investigating? Or, we cause some sort of chronological damage? A rip in time, that leaks and distorts the here and now, a connection with all times? Basically, rather than think of ghost sightings as one-off, or occasionally recurring events, think instead that the ghosts are there the entire time, all around us. Nigel Danvers is haunted. Ever since a brief but disturbing experiment with a Spiritboard, he has felt someone, or something, calling to him. What is the significance of the word 'Blackenrock'? Is it a name, an item, an event, a place?

Joining Nigel on his mysterious mission is fellow ghost-hunter Lucy Reubans. Together, they delve deep into Saxton's murky past, investigating supernatural tales of horror and haunting, to discover secrets long since buried. Armed with upgraded ghost hunting gadgets, Nigel and Lucy seek answers from the dead to uncover clues to a century old murder mystery. All the clues regarding Blackenrock lead out to sea, through the dense fog, away from the safety of Saxton. A trip into the unknown! The scattered rocky remnants of old Ulcombe make for treacherous waters, as the claw-like rocks seem to stand guard, preventing all but the most brave from discovering what hides beyond.
