Went to the developer site, followed link to download-Norton says harmful. and download stopped. anyone else had this problem?

Most times they are false positives. Send a note to the developer and let them know.

Yes I disabled Norton and installed then reinstalled and it ran fine with no problems except my inability to fathom out the clues - good game!!
Forgot to say I did e mail the developer and he advised me to disable Norton and carry on, said it was a problem that he had seen before but that the game was completely safe

Hi. I downloaded this game the other day and got a window asking what I wanted to open it with. What did I do wrong?

You may have to rename the file to add the .exe extension on the end.

Example: If the file is named "Setup" rename to "Setup.exe" before running.

Sometimes web browsers like IE will chop off the file extension "for your protection."

I assume you downloaded the installer from a reliable website like

Thanks ever so much Jenny, that was the problem. I had to find the file folder and add the .exe. I've not done that before. Is there a way to determine when it needs to be added?
Yes, I downloaded it from a link here on GB, I think maybe Marian's.
