What's your favorite 2015 Release?

Just out of curiosity what are your favorite 2015 releases? In case you need a refresher, the last 6 months can be found here.

Mine are Tormentum, Fran Bow, The Last Crown: Midnight Horror and Morningstar: Descent to Deadrock.

This one. Carol Reed is great.
At least it's the one I enjoyed most while I was playing it.

Midnight Horror seems pretty good too, though I decided to wait until vacation to play it.

Shades of Black and also the latest (hopefully not last) Nancy Drew. I so enjoyed playing the latter partly because I thought it might be the last ND I would want to play. I thought it a really well crafted game.

I'm a big fan of Sunless Sea, Darkest Dungeon, and Tales from the Borderlands by Telltale.

Dreamfall Chapters is way at the top for me, followed by Life Is Strange. Both have made it to my favorite games list.

King's Quest and Blues and Bullets are both very promising so far, though I've only barely begun each, and they both have four more episodes to go anyway. All in all, I think it's been a fantastic year.

I originally listed two games and added one after Venus jarred my memory , but the verbage is the same. I never posted to list only two.

I do not hang out with you on a daily basis to confirm or deny that, Greyfuss.

Then its settled...I am going bonkers. Thanks Sheriff for committing me. Don't know why I was sure it was top two. I have edited my list from 2 to the 5 I enjoyed the most.

I have not played many games this year but I always pay special attention to anytime Venus posts a list because we seem to enjoy the same games.

Dreamfall Chapters and The Last Crown seem like seem like games I would enjoy. I'll need to add these to my holiday list.

Dreamfall Chapters was on sale on GOG's big winter sale earlier in the week. It's not up now, but the sale lasts until Dec. 13th and sale items change every day. There's a good chance it might show up again.

The special edition with the soundtrack and other extras is on sale for $13.99, and the regular edition is $11.99 (although the regular edition is not listed on the main sale page, if you hunt for it, it is listed with the sale price). My favorites for 2015 are:

Lost Horizon 2
The Last Crown Midnight Horror

Just one I’m afraid, the Book of Unwritten Tales 2. What with work and family etc I don’t have that much time to devote to playing the games as I would like to.
I loved playing that game; the humour was mostly well done and reminded me of the old Lucas Arts favourites.
I think that Gremlin in his review remarked on the dialogue and voice over’s that they were excellent. I agree though puzzled how a German based company could achieve such authentic British humour and accents, so I’ve did some digging and found that they handed the dialogue writing over to a London based company. Good thinking and a credit to how much work they put into this game.

I loved the following this year:

Contradiction
Shades of Black
The new Kings Quest
and I must add Fran Bow (such an unusual quirky game!)

Have not played Prominence yet but plan to play it soon based on all the positive feedback.

If you don't mind me asking, is that a physical copy of "Black Sails"? If so, where did you find it?

I bought a boxed version of Black Sails (which was then only available in German) but I was able to download a German Update Patch plus a Translate to English Patch.
However, I'm afraid I don't know if any of that is still available

The new King's Quest is great - can't wait for the rest of the episodes!

Lost Horizon 2 though it didn't get as epic as the first was also a very enjoyable.
