I have already pre-ordered the game; I hope I will be able to save in the real game! I am enjoying the demo; just not having to start over every time.

Hopefully someone who has played can answer gameho. It's possible that the demo doesn't have a save, but I am sure that the full game does.

NO, Ana, this demo doesn't allow for saves, but I'm sure that the full version WILL. Due out in 2 days from now

P.S. Thanks for the correction of NOT being a Wadjet Eye game. Sure looks like it. According to the credits, Dave Gilbert made it and voice acts in it also. Correct me if I'm wrong.

SAndy, the English voice acting was directed by Dave Gilbert. He did not develop or publish the game.

I am playing this on my channel and my short review is that it is really good. The 1995 time frame means that Kathy has to do "real" detective work, not just search the internet. You listen to tapes, read police reports on paper, etc.

So yeah, I was wondering if anyone here was playing it. It releases today, May 5th in a few hours.

I have been told by the publishers that Kathy Rain deals with some adult themes and is a deep game - not for the kids, I think!

(By adult, I do not mean lots of foul language and naughty bits, I just mean adult subject matter.)

I have not yet finished the game, played and recorded about 3 hours so far. The mystery just gets better with every session.

I started playing this game tonight (the full version). It DOES have a "SAVE/LOAD" function on the main menu. the controls are different than those on the DEMO, but the story line in Part 1 is basically the same as in the demo version. i'm loving this game so far. Although Wadjet Eye didn't make it, it's so much like a typical Dave Gilbert game I can't tell the difference. HAPPY GAMING, fellow Boomers.

Oh, this game is definitely worth playing !! I'm further into it now and am VERY impressed

I forgot to give the warning that there have been one or two occasions where rather bad language was used.
It's not been prolific but did happen ....

This game looks great, and parts of it remind me of Gabriel Knight, which is definitely a good thing. I think I might get it for myself as an early birthday present.

I just finished playing Kathy Rain, and in my not so humble opinion, it is the best game I've played in a long time, including it's great ending. I highly recommend it since I'm getting a commission (LOL), but seriously, it's a great story with voice overs that are really spectacular. HAPPY GAMING!
