Neyyah is a first-person point-and-click adventure puzzle game set in an island world known as Neyyah which is separated by a series of portal devices. The player has to work out how to operate them and figure out why they exist, while also uncovering about the history behind the cultures of people which have shaped the gameworld.

Through environmental storytelling, the player will be able to enjoy hours of non-linear gameplay, composed of photorealistic prerendered graphics, immersive sounds and compelling musical score.

You play as Theo, a training assistant in the science department in your homeworld of Olujay. Your professor and Chief Scientist Vamir sends you to Neyyah in the hope you will be safe there, after realizing that you are in danger on Olujay – for reasons you will discover upon your many explorations. You were supposed to be sent to a training facility based on another island on the ocean world of Fayamore, far below the floating rock of your homeworld, to learn and experiment in the use of a powerful sacred plant known as the Niyashka and the use of Payeeta, pearl devices that are farmed and manipulated to generate vast amounts of energy to support life on Olujay.

Instead, you end up on Neyyah with only a small amount of knowledge given to you by frantic Vamir on what you’re supposed to do when you’re there.
In order to return to Olujay, you will have to learn about the island of Neyyah – how devices operate, what the island used to be and what it is now. Not everything is as it seems on Neyyah, and your discoveries will lead you to uncover the biggest secret kept by your people on Olujay.

Happy Gaming!

Thanks, Ana!
Although I can't read that 'Facebook' page either: it seems it is not displayed correctly for those not registered on that social net.
The Patreon page seems more informative and easier to use: https://www.patreon.com/defyrealityentertainment

Yeah I suggested him to work on a website for his game, many people don't want to see it on FB haha. But it would be a real shame not to keep an eye on Neyyah. I have been following this project for a while and I can tell you that it will be amazing for Riven fans. Just look at the screens! I had the honor to play a private demo and it was wonderful. Can't wait!
You can find test builds on Youtube to get an idea: https://youtu.be/KX779NCAGEM

You all should be able to access the FaceBook Page without an account since I gave a direct link. For those it didn't work for, I added another link for screens.

Simon, I saw that he promoted your games on his page! I agree, a website is the best place to access news, but seems like more and more are just using social media accounts. Not everyone is a fan of that.

Thanks for the YouTube link Simon.
Being able to see the game in motion works better for me than the still shots.

The Facebook links don't work for me at all (display blank webpage except for Facebook-specific junk at top).
The Patreon and Instagram links work, but I still like seeing the game in motion.

Yes! We became good friends on internet and from time to time we like to share advice and ideas in our discussions on making Myst-like games, etc.
We have become a patron of each other on Patreon haha

I also do what I can to support his game through my collective of indie creators called The Icehouse.
Aaron (the creator of Neyyah) has even been a judge for us last year when we made our own game jam event, and that we had to choose the winners. He kindly offered his private demo of Neyyah to the top 10 winners.

It's really nice to talk with motivated indie creators like that (even at distance) and to discover their world. I have fallen under the charm of the beach and mysterious buildings of Neyyah several months ago. I wish his game will be a great success and that we will all love it as much as Riven. .......... On second thought this sounds impossible! Sorry Aaron razz

Regarding the video of Neyyah for those of you who are interested, there are several ones on his Youtube channel (not just the one I posted above).
You can find them all here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZDFrky_KnQDx0JFvimF2ew

I will notify Aaron of this thread in case he wouldn't see it...
