I for one, am not holding my breath, nor looking forward to it. If they got their old team together, it would be a different story.

Like Ana, I am not holding my breath. If they continue to outsource the ND games without their old development team, I am not much interested. I did see the video on YouTube and of course one can't be sure what it means, if anything.

The former game designer for many years was Cathy Roiter, who according to Linked In now works at Microsoft.

Thank you for the news, though, Leeana. smile

Regardless of what one thinks of Midnight in Salem, it sold well, so I'd be very surprised if they didn't continue the series. But Her Interactive needs to pull themselves together for this one. The production quality of Midnight in Salem was very low, and the delays were endless. I really thought that the series needed to be revitalized long before Midnight in Salem, and I know that many of you agree with me there. Midnight in Salem just wasn't the right way to do it. Let's hope they do it better next time.

How long has it been since the last Nancy game came out? I actually gave up on Nancy after the eighth or tenth game; altogether too many kiddie chores, and they never seemed to evolve beyond the klutzy and disorienting slide-show format. Like they never heard of the much more user-friendly 360 degree panning set-up of Amerzone and the original Dracula games?

Ironically, their latest game Midnight in Salem allowed for 360-degree panning and (not just my opinion) was one of the worst, if not the worst, games in the entire series. They also got rid of the development team who worked in house and outsourced the game all over the world, which all combined to make the game very subpar. The game came out in 2019.
