Chronique des Silencieux Released

Bordeaux, France – January 29, 2024 - Pierre Feuille Studio is today thrilled to announce that the charming, hand-drawn, historical detective adventure Chronique des Silencieux is now available for PC via Steam - priced $24.99, with support for Mac, Linux and additional storefronts set to arrive in the coming weeks. Furthermore, budding sleuths looking to jump on the case right away can pick up the game with a 20% discount at launch.

To coincide with the launch, Pierre Feuille Studio will broadcast the game today as part of The Storyteller’s Festival on Steam at 7pm GMT / 8pm CET.

Set within a cosy and eye-catching recreation of ‘70’s France, Chronique des Silencieux sees players step into the shoes of Eugène Faury, a rookie private eye investigating the peculiar case of Victor Dousvalon - a stubborn old history professor who shrouded his life in secrecy.

Players will need a keen eye and sharp mind to solve this delicate mystery, as they are thrown headfirst into the case; meeting a colourful cast of characters whom they must diligently question in an attempt to sort fact from fiction.

Throughout their investigation, players will experience hands-on, tactile investigative mechanics, rewarding open-ended questioning and challenging, deductive puzzling that combine to deliver a richly compelling narrative experience. Only by following the right leads, digging through secret documents and investigating decades old lies, will the truth finally come to light.

Thanks Ana! Is there really no audio or subtitles (as shown on the Steam page)? This seems overpriced to me, sorry!

Yeah, I figured that out Marian, but what about subtitles (unless Steam is wrong)? Well, I guess you can see what is being said during conversations when you watch the trailers so I don't know why it shows no subtitles. I guess I don't know what subtitles are.

Anyway, that price is just too high for me to pay for ANY game these days, but I do factor in various features such as voice acting, pixel art or other art style, and point & click or not, when deciding how much I'm willing to pay or not pay for a game. Maybe that's just me though.
