I'm in the apothecary's shop. The big puzzle in the bailiff's office drove me buggy worrying over glitches. Very helpfully, the puzzle would only reset to parts not yet finished but it took me a long time to realize that because I had no idea whether I had finished a segment or not. Also, just before the complex puzzle the cursor went pfft. Fortunately the Big Fish forum has an easy fix which is to switch to the smaller cursor. Nonetheless I wasn't trusting anything and was regretting buying on the initial release day. I used the strategy guide for the metal pieces of various sizes that move along a grid. I would be happily still figuring out that particular segment if had I trusted there were no glitches. The big puzzle is a good one.

I was stuck a few times and needed the guide but that's what its there for.

I think I got the same glitch that 8dognight got. I'll try changing the cursor.

Well actually it wasn't the same place, I was at the Bailiffs office and what I was holding that wouldn't leave the cursor area, was actually needed outside.

I was waiting for the same and to see if they would provide an update, which they did last night (found on the GM). I decided to use a 60% off coupon nearing an expiration date and just got the game for $6.09.
I sure hope there will be a good sale this weekend.

Back in June or July BFG had an offer to download Gummy Drop and they would send you a 60% off coupon about 2 weeks later. So I did since it wasn't costing me anything.

Looks like there are two new Ravenhearst games, The Key To Ravenhearst and Ravenhearst Unlocked? Can they be played even if I haven't played the other Ravenhearst games? Is one better than the other? Is there a regular edition of these games instead of the CE? I am no longer a club member so the CE are a little bit pricey for me. I discontinued my game membership because I work so much that my time to play games on my PC is limited. BFG told me to email all of my game credits to myself so that I wouldn't lose them. I had lots of game credits but unfortunately I can't use them on CE. There isn't a way for me to use two credits since they were transferred out of my account into my email. I can use one credit at a time.

They can be played even if you haven't played the other Ravenhearst games, although you will miss out on maybe a little of the backstory. There will be regular versions of these games in about four to five weeks.

You could pick them up today for $8.99 apiece - the coupon code for CEs is PLAY - good for this weekend only.

I don't know if one is better than the other, although I think it would be better to play Key to Ravenhearst first and then Ravenhearst Unlocked.

Thanks Marian. I played Return To Ravenhearst on my tablet but only played about 1/2 of it. Got busy and couldn't get back to it. I liked it but it has been awhile since I have played it. I don't want to start it over because I really enjoy playing on my PC more. I did download the free trial of Key To Ravenhearst to try it. I like it but don't want to pay for it when I have a lot of credits I can use on the regular edition. Do all of the CE eventually have a regular edition? I don't want to miss the sale if it won't have a regular edition.

I am a little confused about the storyline. Would it be too difficult for someone to tell me the basic backstory?

All of the CEs are released in a regular version about four weeks later.

Maybe another player here can give you some of the backstory - my memory of it isn't as cohesive and clear as it could be.

I am enjoying this game, and trying hard not to zoom through it. It takes will power to play up to a point and then quit for a while.

I bought both recent MCF Collector Edition games at the 2 for 1 sale. I don't usually buy the CE games, but I had a build up of credits to use. I hope the extra content will be worth it.

This is a MUCH better game than 'key'-in my opinion. Keep going guys...
More story, better art and atmosphere...but plenty of puzzling ..me I like more story not so much puzzling unless really fits in with the story...
Still would like to have more atmosphere(good sound effects mean so much) ...love creepiness..more story...good graphics..
However-much enjoyed this one ( still not up to Escape but keep up the good work!)
