Eipix sale in progress!

I love it when BF announces a developer's sale, because I do follow a few of these games based on the developer. So, a sale is very enticing, if I've missed a few. I use a software program to keep track of the games I've played and what was good or bad about each, and the Eipix games stand out.

However, Eipix, for whatever reason, chose not to present their games in alphabetical order. Why is this important? Well, if I want to make sure I'm not repurchasing a game I already have played, I need to check it against my database. Not having their games alpha-ordered makes this far too onerous (there are over 550 games in my database, so no ~ I can't remember every one).

So I have gone from excited to bummed out pretty quickly.

BFG always lets me know if I purchased something already.

Very true, with one exception - if you have the CE version of a game, the system treats the standard edition as a different game, and vice versa - so that is the one thing you need to be careful about in this regard.

Yes, TLC, but trying to buy each game and having it possibly derail with "You already own this!" is not appealing.

Just want to add here that as far as I know, when there is a developer's sale like this one, the games are never listed in alphabetical order. They seem to put the newest releases near the top, but that's about it as far as I can tell.

Interesting thought, Marian. I do put down the date when I've played a game, but even if I knew the order, it still would be a pain to go scrolling back and forth, trying to make sense of their order versus my alphabetical one (and I may not have played them in the order that they came out, in any case). I guess I'll skip this sale and wait until a game catches my eye.

Besides that, you can look directly at your purchase history yourself, and check off ones that you already have. It's easy!

And the Purchase History is in alphabetical order.

There's another good sale today, but it's for Game Club members only.

Checking my Purchase History is a good idea, and yes, it is alphabetical (as is my database of the games I've played). But I still would have to scroll back and forth between the non-alphabetical list in which Eipix presents the sale games. So we're back at square one again.

Anyway, thanks to everyone who had a suggestion. I do appreciate the feedback! I guess I'm not meant to buy a new game at this time.
