Question: BF games disappearing?

I seem to remember this topic coming up recently, but could not find the thread. I went to download a BF game and it no longer is in my list. The game is Royal Detective: Lord of Statues, and I purchased it in 2018. Do they periodically remove older games? Four other Royal Detective games that I purchased still are there, and I successfully replayed three of them already.

In your game manager click purchase history on the left side. When that list comes up make sure you have it set to sort by game title (upper right side of screen next to where it says purchase history, not all the way at top) and it should be listed alphabetically. My Royal Detective: Lord of Statues is there.

Yes, you posted about this a while back; your question had to do with the Secret Order games. You thought they had disappeared from your Purchase History, when the problem was that you needed to find them under "The" Secret Order. When a game is removed from the Big Fish website, the download page is removed, but it is never removed from your Purchase History. I think something else must be going on here, but I am not sure what. I have never heard of anything in someone's Purchase History disappearing. Royal Detective: Lord of Statues is one that I have, and it's in my Purchase History - I just checked.

I would write to Customer Support if you can't find it anywhere in your Purchase History after careful checking.

You can also go to your purchase history, and do a Ctrl-F to search the page for any part of the title.

Thank you so much for helping with that "The" issue, Marian. It never occurred to me that BF would use "The" when composing an alphabetical listing, but I keep this in mind now every time I search their site.

What I am writing about today is a game title from a series in which I bought FIVE games. Four of the five games show up together in my Purchase History, at the correct location in the alphabetical sorting. It seems odd that the fifth one does not.

I tried a search based on purchase year (2018) rather than title, and read through the entire tally to see if it somehow would appear. I bought 50 games that year, but no luck finding it via that approach. (I have replayed many games I purchased that were as old as 2014.)

It looks like a random thing. I guess I'll send Support a query. Royal Detective is SUCH a great series of games! Thanks for responding.

Yes, I get the "The" thing, but I am not looking for the missing game under "The" Lord of Statues because the full title of the game is "Royal Detective: The Lord of Statues." So, I'm looking in the "R" section of my Purchases list, which is where the other four games in that series are located. So there is that.

I know when I purchased the game (in June of 2018) because of my credit card statements. So I queried BF about the loss of the game and they looked into it, but don't know what happened to it. Today, they sent me a coupon so I can buy it again without paying for it a second time. That series is one of my favorites, so you can imagine how happy I am right now. I really appreciate that level of Customer Service and it is one reason I've continued to buy from them for over ten years.

Now, I'm off to reinstall and replay it. Yay!
