I have been out of the Gamenboomers loop so this has probably been discussed. But usually there is a new MCF game around Thanksgiving? Any new ones coming out?

I'm also DYING to know! Is it a good one? I've passed on the last couple and am hoping for a good one this year.

Reviews at BFG are quite good - as in, FINALLY there is a worthy MCF game.

I have not really enjoyed the last few MCF games . I have just started this new one but not too thrilled. My favorites were Dire Grove, Shadow Lake and 13th Skull. Especially 13th Skull. The characters were interesting especially that lovely couple Cooter and Charlotte. They were a hoot! LOL The older games had more atmosphere . I don't know, I just haven't really liked these later games. Something is missing! I am so disappointed that Dire grove isn't playable on windows 10. Seems like they could have upgraded it.

I must be the only person who doesn't think Dire Grove was that special. I played it and I'm sure I liked it but I sure can't remember anything about it so I guess I didn't think it was that special.

I thought Dire Grove was good, but my favorite of the MCF series was 13th Skull.

I did replay Dire Grove in the last few months and it held up well.

Dire Grove and 13th Skull were my favorites. I keep looking at that Dire Grove game sitting on my drive and wishing I could play it!

I have the disc installed on my Win 7 computer (Dire Grove). I said not too long ago when a different discussion of the game came up that I was going to replay it, but I haven't. I guess I'll have to find out what is so good about it

. My favorites are Ravenhearst and Madame Fate (the 2 first games of those). And those are the only 2 series in the MCF series that I've replayed (all 3 Ravenhearst and both Fate games). I know I played 13th Skull in 2018 but I'm not sure I remember it either. I'll have to look at a game trailer to see if I can refresh my memory of it. I've only recently played the 16th game so I am too behind to comment on the most recent games.

So, I lied. Dire Grove was installed in my old Win 7 computer. I watched a trailer for 13th Skull and it didn't ring any bells either. It ,however, IS installed on my current Win 7.

I've been playing the new MCF games and I've been enjoying it. I haven't hit any really hard puzzles as yet, but they have been entertaining and different. The HO scenes are enjoyable to play as well. It definitely is much better than the last MCF. Not as good as the greats: Ravenhearst, Dire Grove, 13th skull, etc, but altogether a better experience than the last few.
