sacred 2 fire and ice expansion

I just bought this expansion from GoGamer, but when I tried to install it, I got this message: The language version of this patch is not compatible with the installed version of Sacred 2. Huh?

Is one an import and one domestic?

I checked at GoGamer and it said that the expansion could only be played with the UK version of Sacred 2 and dummy me didn't even notice that little tidbit of information when I bought it.

I guess that UK English is not compatible with USA English.

I have to wonder why they'd be selling the UK version at a US store though. It seems to me that if they insist on doing that, they should at least make sure they warn the customer that he's buying it.

I for one like the fact that GoGamer.com sales Europe/UK games! Most if which are (uncensored-editions) like that of the orginal 'The Witcher' a Million $ + saler A-RPG PC-game that I understand a whole-bunch of US-gamers bought! Anyway just a thought Joyful-gaming all!
