But to sum it up. it's a good game. Though you have to remember to use a video walkthrough for some of the more bigger areas and quests (if you decide on playing it)
I've played the whole thing and have to say that I loved the entire game. The story is compelling, the graphics excellent, the progression of difficulty challenging (but by no means too difficult), the side-quests fitting, and the combat model great.
Gerry knowing how much you like the Tomb Raider games I'm very surprised that you haven't grabbed this one yet. I'm sure you would enjoy this game immensely.
I liken the controls to TR Underworld. The graphics are simply amazing and the acting superb. Completely different storyline as it is a younger Lara.
The only negative thing I have to say about it is the Quicktime events scattered throughout the game. The game is very unforgiving if you don't hit the right key at exactly the right time for these events but they are not that frequent and you can get used to them (frustrating as they are).
Thanks Smiley, Jarkeld, gremlin, and oldman. Oldman I have not been able to find a PC version of the game in any stores around here only the console games. I keep looking and in the mean time I'm replaying the old ones! Thanks again for your responses. It does sound really good.

It looks like they decided not to make a boxed copy for the PC in North America so if you really want a DVD you'll have to order it from amazon.com as an import.
Thanks oldman. I have a slow DSL internet connection. It's not good for downloading games, especially one like the new TR. I guess the only way for me will be to get it from Amazon or hope it will eventually be released as a PC games in the States. Thanks again.
Gerry what I do is use steam to download and start the download at night and sleep on it. If it's still downloading the next morning you can still use your computer as steam will continue downloading in the background.
Started it today (ps3). Love it so far. Not too difficult. Reminds me of Uncharted
It was Tomb Raider than led me to the Uncharted games. I picked them all 3 PS3 games up for a bargain price at our local second hand store, and I'm about half-way (perhaps a bit more) through Uncharted 2. Very good, they are too.
Just finished Tomb Raider. Thoroughly enjoyed the game. The game involves a lot of searching for objects such as GPSs, documents, relics, ammunition etc. Some are very difficult to find but the Adventure gamer in me helped a lot. There are also a number of challenges to complete which were fun. There were many combat sequences involving killing up to 20 enemies. They were difficult but I just lowered the game difficulty and that helped. There were action sequences that required specific buttons to pressed when the prompt came up on the screen resulting in death if they were not pressed correctly. The good thing is that if you die you always respawn close to the scene because of auto-saving. There is also a fast travel feature where you can go back in the game if you missed anything. All in all I'd give the game an A.
L4L, I'm into Far Cry 3 right now. Two full days of playing. I'm enjoying it a lot. It's like playing a FPS version of Skyrim (huge Open World to explore while avoiding pirates etc)
A friend of mine bought it from Amazon. I played it on my PS3 although I've played all TR's on my PC. I thought I'm not going to like it since it's too different from other TR's. It's more action based & survival rather than puzzle solving action adventure. But I enjoyed it. It was a nice game. I agree mostly with manxman & others too. I didn't like a few things. I also didn't like the story very much.
