Does This Mean I'm Addicted?

I started my 3rd straight play through of Prey 2017! I don't seem to be able to get enough of this game...

Addiction can be a wonderful thing Checked this out on Amazon. Am I crazy or is this like a remake of System Shock 2? It looks fun!

I haven't played System Shock 2, so I don't know about that. It is supposed to be a followup to the first Prey, but it really doesn't follow that story at all.

I've read reviews that compare it to System Shock 2. That got me interested, since I didn't care that much for the original Prey, though I did finish it. System Shock 2 is a favorite game of mine, the only one I've played twice. I'm looking forward to playing Prey 2017.

Edit....I meant to say that I am playing Soma now and enjoying it. I like it more than Amnesia.

Soma is one of my all time favorite games. Amnesia was just downright scary, but Soma has such a great story...

Yes, the story is so good. I usually don't care if the story is minimal, I just enjoy the gameplay, but with Soma I really want to know what happened and how it ends up.

Same, here, Pokey... usually I'm all about the gameplay in a game like this, but the story in Soma really grabbed me.

Soma is excellent, as was System Shock 2. I supported the reboot.

Drac, I just finished Soma and I loved it! It wasn't scary like Amnesia. In station Tau, I was running around with the creature chasing and didn't feel frightened. The locations seemed real and were well done. The ending was certainly worth the effort to get there and faked me out for a while. I'll be playing Prey before too long. I have Alien Isolation to play. Have you played it?

Ana, I have no idea if Prey has a god mode! I haven't even checked. I've only played in the "normal" setting which is tough, but totally doable.

No god mode through an in-engine console command, but there is a trainer.

Drac, it got quite good reviews. Based on the first Alien movie and more of a scary horror game like Amnesia or System Shock 2. A motion detector is your only defense in the beginning, though there are soldiers to battle later on.

I dip in and out of it - I think it does what it does really well.
