Bloody Spell

I tried this game a few months ago and I gave because not much information about it.
This week I tried it again and I got further, I killed a boss and went up some stairs, there was a light which went out when clicked then I went into a officelike place. I thought I had saved but when I restarted it was from very beginning.
does anyone know what it like when you reach this save point at the end of part 1
