Re: epic free games - 12/09/20 05:48 AM

Epic is out to get Steam, and that's why there are free games every 2 weeks or so. All the free games are also available on Steam, of course. It's obvious on Day 1 that Epic has it in for Steam. Let's see if their gambit pays off. A year after Epic opened, I'm still spending more money on Steam than on Epic. Steam is simply too big, too popular, has too many games, etc. Gamers go where the games are.

Re: epic free games - 12/09/20 12:26 PM

I checked Epic's client and wasn't impressed. Not sure how they would be able to compete with Steam, they have no USP, apart from giving away games. And Steam's client is better.

Re: epic free games - 12/20/20 08:30 PM

i brought Hello Neighbor and it wants end user license agreement what is that.
Posted By: Draclvr

Re: epic free games - 12/20/20 10:34 PM

You just have to AGREE with the end user license agreement. Usually, it's just a click on "agree" or "accept" at the bottom of the EULA.

STAR WARS™ Battlefront™ II: Celebration Edition has EA origin,, to play, should i download it.
Posted By: Trail_Mystic

Re: epic free games - 01/14/21 07:20 PM

Origin is required in order to play Battlefront II because while it does have a campaign aspect, it's mainly geared towards multiplayer MMO and COOP gameplay. Origin is what EA uses to control access and updates to those types of games.

As to whether you should download it, that's completely up to you.

Here's the Battlefront II website with tons of information on the game: Battlefront II: Celebration Edition

Re: epic free games - 01/14/21 09:35 PM

I haven't played Alien Invasion, but I've read good things about it. I didn't know you played survival horror games with weapons where you can get killed. I hope you checked to make sure you have a stand alone video card in your computer. Although the video requirements aren't very high, it won't play with integrated graphics.

Yes, Epic gives away a new free game every week. You do need to download their launcher but they do have some good giveaways .

Love Tyranny {RPG} and Crying Suns {roguelike} that they gave away a few weeks ago.

Re: epic free games - 02/20/21 02:49 AM

i will, when i get my ram down, it is too high.
Posted By: Draclvr

Re: epic free games - 02/20/21 05:52 AM

Usually for these kinds of games, you need MORE RAM, not less! Rage 2 requires only 8 GB of RAM which isn't much.

Re: epic free games - 02/20/21 02:45 PM

i went wild buying big fish games, i going finish the big fish games, then epic and steam, it is easy that way, steam and epic only sell 1 or 2 games, big fish sells a bunch. it is easy to go hog wild buying on big fish.

Re: epic free games - 02/20/21 03:33 PM

Yes, sometimes you have to control yourself at Big Fish - especially when they have sales.

Re: epic free games - 02/20/21 11:53 PM
