Reminds me of the time when one of the 2 dogs came into the room and there was something about the way the dog looked at me that caused me to question where the other one was. He was in the kitchen lapping up the marinade for my steak dinner. I had placed it too close to the edge of the kitchen counter. From then on it went into the refrigerator. Bad dog

Years ago my sister's dog ate an entire Thanksgiving day pie.

While my sister's family (they had a son and a large retriever type of dog) was having a house built, they lived with my Mom. One day she put goodies she baked for a church event on the family dining table. Covered with plastic wrap and set in the middle of the table near a far wall, It seemed to be secure. HAH. They left for about an hour and returned the desert half eaten. He had to have jumped onto the table and pushed the wrap away to get to the goodies.
