Fed Ex is the worst of the worst! I issued complaints on every one of my FedEx package deliveries for the holidays and I never do that! I can't believe they are still in business.

i waiting for that packages, now the egg plates, should be here jan 21, we will see, now i do not know when my first package gets here.

I've had good luck with FedEx deliveries in the past and have even gotten them on Sundays. It may just depend on where their distribution hubs are or, at least this year, how many employees are under quarantine restrictions or in the hospital. The post office didn't have a very good record of deliveries this holiday, either, mainly because the workers weren't allowed to work overtime.

We’ve had good service with FedEx as well as UPS over the holidays. WalMart and Amazon have also been on time. On the other hand, there are still 3 packages that were to be Christmas gifts that are still sitting in a USPS distribution center. They were shipped on Dec. 7 and 11. Have been at a facility not that far away since Dec. 15 according to tracking,

family, sounds like you are on track to get it today! 3 days is fast. All mine took 2-3 weeks even after paying for 2 day shipping. Worse yet, they dumped them in the driveway in full view of street instead of front porch. Our area is horrible for Fed Ex.

I have excellent service from Fed Ex where I live... a lot of my deliveries come on Sunday. As LadyK mentioned the USPS was a nightmare this holiday season because of the changes made by the new Postmaster General not allowing overtime. Our postman apologized to us several times about Dave not getting his Wall Street Journal and other packages. We had a prescription medication take over 2 weeks when they normally take 2 days. We have started complaining to the WSJ about the non-delivery of his newspaper as he pays nearly $500 a year for it to be delivered out here in the country.

But I don't understand why you're posting them here! I mean if we all posted all our package delivery notifications, there wouldn't be any room for anything else. Maybe you could just keep them to when you think you have problems? Please? We're happy to help you with those.

But what I'm saying is that is no reason to be posting all the tracking updates here at Gameboomers. We all have items cancelled, running late etc. But we all don't post all the updates here! Like I said, if we all did this, there would be no room for anything else.

Regarding post office issues, I have not had any problem getting my mail but today I received a credit card statement with a $28.00 late fee on it. I mailed the payment on 1/04. It was due on 1/15. The payment posted on 1/17. I called and it was reversed without any problem. The woman told me that ALL the payments have been late this month.

Yes indeedy OldBroad ... on-line holiday shopping and the pandemic certainly put the post office and other delivery businesses to task this year

My husband had two late charges for the same reason and he mailed the payments at least 2 weeks in advance. A friend paid off her Jeep and her husband convinced her to send a check. When she told me, I had a heart attack! I said, the chances are it will not get there in time. Well, I was right - over TWO weeks later, it finally posted. Unfortunately, her automatic payment also came out of her checking account. So now she has to fight with them to get that back.

When my internet-adverse husband tells me to start making his credit card payments on-line for him, you know it's bad. Our medications have been late, he seldom gets his newpaper he pays to have delivered and he's had to stop sending checks for his bills. If nothing else, I certainly hope they can get rid of the guy who screwed everything up at the USPS as soon as possible! Our postman has told us the pandemic and increased on-line shopping were bad enough, but the changes the guy made made it twice as bad.

I much prefer to use and support the USPS too! But not if they are no longer reliable. My last medication was delayed by almost 3 weeks. An order for a special mix for my husband to have low carb biscuits was delayed by almost 6 weeks. According to tracking it sat in one place for 5 weeks.

Yea, I love when the tracking shows stuff just sitting in one place and never moving. Or, I had something one time that went back and forth between a couple of the same places for awhile.

I have had pretty good service from the post office this past year, but I pay all my bills online not just for the convenience but also so that I don't have to worry about how long it is going to take for them to receive the payment.

The worst thing the post office has done to me in the past two years was to have lost something that I sent certified mail, which is pretty terrible if you stop to think about it. It was a certified birth certificate too, so it was plenty of hassle to get it replaced.

Even though we live out in the country, our USPS service has been wonderful up until about mid October of last year.
