Nancy comic strip

First of all, this post is not meant to be racial. I just have a question and don't know who to ask. Does anyone know why the Nancy comic character is now black? I find that change to the original (iconic) comic strip'ss author to be completely uncalled for and wrong. Thanks.

That's strange - we have the new Nancy comic strip - which I REALLY don't care for - and she is not black. She looks the same as she did for decades before, although the character's skin tone is more natural, than paper white. If they did decide to change her race, it wouldn't bother me in the least. It is after all, a comic strip!

You can post a link to it like Ana did, but not a picture. So you're saying the link Ana posted to yesterday's comic strip does not look the same as yours?

Your first one is not a link, but points to your computer. The second one is behind a paywall for the newspaper. You should be able to find the strip you want on-line and just link to it like Ana did. What day was it published in your newpaper? In yesterday's strip, she was just as white as she has always been!

Laurette, I did let you know... I told you above that points to your own computer and is not a link on the internet! Did you try what I suggested and go the daily Nancy comic strip website and find the one you want? What day was it published?

Did you look at the links Ana and I posted from yesterday and today where Nancy is still a smarty pants little white 8 year old?

Well,either am going crazy or... I went online again for the Atlanta paper. and they show her as white! So I took a picture with my iPhone and will try to email it. What's a good email to use? Thanks. I admit it, I am extremely stubborn! I tried to send it to Ana and had more problems. Oh well!
