I don't know if anyone has ever had this problem but hope someone can help. I cannot install from the BFG purchase history. I click on a game then click Run then it doesn't do anything. I really need to do this because there are some games I cannot get except from my history. PLEASE someone help me to fix this. I will be forever grateful!

Have you tried to Reinstall the Big Fish Games app.

Yes I have. I have redone all I can think of. Reinstalled the Games App, reinstalled the game manager a dozen or more times. I just tried to get into my games manager to reinstall from history agin and it says error 1404. I cannot find anything about this error on BFG help. They said I could work around this by downloading from the main page but why can't I get these 3 games from my history..- I have 3 Agathe Christie games I cannot get without my history because they are no longer on the game main page. Help!!

Have you contacted Big Fish Support? They are the ones who can help you.

I just did a search of the Big Fish forums to see if anyone else had reported error 1404, and there were a few people here and there saying that they had received this message in relationship to downloading various games. Most if not all of those people, a few days later, said that they were no longer receiving this message and that things were working again the way that they were supposed to.

I am going to assume that this poster received this information from Big Fish Customer Support. It sounds like a problem on their end and not yours. If I were you, I would wait a while and see if the problem corrects itself, being as you have already reported it to Big Fish.

I imagine that this person asked Big Fish for an older version of the Game Manager and was given a link to download it. Keep in mind, though, that this wouldn't necessarily be a fix for your problem and that this person was having problems with a different game. Keep in mind, too, that if you were to install an older version, the minute you downloaded anything new from Big Fish, the newest Game Manager would then be installed automatically, so it might be more trouble than it's worth.

Sorry about your troubles - it's frustrating, I know.

What if you log into the Big Fish website and look at your purchase history?
Do the games show up there?
Can you download the game's individial installer from there?

Sorry, I thought the problem was with the purchase history in the game client rather than the one on Big Fish website. Like Marian says, you'll have to contact Big Fish.

Hi Jenny 100. My problem is that I cannot install from my history at all. I did a work around by going to the main page and hitting buy. That way I can get it installed. BUT I have 3 Agatha Christie large file games that I can't do this with because they took them off the page the game where is supposed to be. I have them in my purchase history but cannot install them. I have tried everything I have been told to do but nothing helps.

Ouch. I didn't read your initial post carefully enough and was thinking that it was just the Agatha Christie games that you couldn't download from your Purchase History. I would continue to write to Big Fish about this problem. If you can't download your Agatha Christie games at all (and I do understand the problem - these used to be available on Big Fish but aren't anymore - and that's why they have been taken down from the download page), then this needs to be resolved - if they can't resolve it, then they should give you codes for replacement games. Keep writing to them.

Marian, this was in my very first post I sent them. Then they started all different things to try which I did. Even a Dr Felix report. Nothing has been said about refund or coupons since.

I can't thank all of you enough for the advice and help.

You are welcome, but I certainly wasn't of any real help, and I would be very frustrated over this problem. It's a pain, but keep writing to them in the hopes that you can at least get some codes for the games you are unable to access at all, and meanwhile hopefully someone at Customer Support will be able to ascertain why you are unable to download games from your Purchase History.

I posted again an answer to the lasst one I received and finally asked for coupons. Customer Support have not and probably cannot do anything to correct this problem. Thanks for caring and it is a real pain.
