I am looking at purchasing a refurbished laptop mainly to play casual/adventure games. I need advice on whether these specs are adequate for my needs:

2016 HP 17-p120wm 17.3" Laptop AMD A8-7050 Dual-Core Processor, 4GB Memory, 750GB HDD,DVD-RW, Windows 10 Home (Certified Refurbished)
by HP

AMD A8-7050 Dual-Core processor
1.80GHz (with a Max Turbo Boost of 3.0GHz), 2MB L2 Cache
4GB DDR3 SDRAM system memory
Gives you the power to handle most power-hungry applications and tons of multimedia work
750GB SATA hard drive
Store 500,000 photos, 214,000 songs or 395 hours of HD video and more
SuperMulti DVD Burner
Watch movies and read and write CDs and DVDs in multiple formats
10/100Base-T Fast Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN
Connect to a broadband modem with wired Ethernet or wirelessly connect to a WiFi signal or hotspot with the 802.11b/g/n connection built into your PC
17.3" LED-backlit display
AMD Radeon R5 Graphics

Thank you for any advice.

Some casual games don't work with Windows 10.

1.8GHz doesn't seem like much

4GB is kind of a minimum

10/100 ethernet is slow
If you plan to use ethernet, you should get gigabit

"AMD Radeon R5" isn't very specific.

Check user reviews at places like ***here***
There are complaints about bad touchpad and some say the laptop is slow.

Don't expect it to play new adventure games. It might play pixel art games like Kathy Rain, but it won't be able to play recent Sherlock Holmes and will probably choke on Book of Unwritten Tales 2.
It may play most casual games, but will likely be sluggish with some.

Great, thank you. What are the minimum things I should look for?

Look at the system requirements of the games that you want to play.
