Heaven's Hope

I was thinking of trying Heaven's Hope on steam and I see I need GeForce 8800 or higher, I have GeForce gtx650ti, now I have looked on the NVidia site but I can't make head nor tale of it and I don't know whether my graphics is good enough or not. So I bow to all your greater wisdoms and humbly ask you for your opinion

It's not as hard as you're making it out to be.
You don't have to understand every number on that page to be able to compare the cards.

For example, look at the "At a Glance" section at
http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards.php?card1=682&card2=544
Look at which card that has more bold type numbers.
The faster card will have more bold type numbers.

Down in the "Details" section, look at "PS/VS Version:"
(PS/VS = Pixel Shader / Vertex Shader)

If a game requires a card with pixel shader 3.0 and your card only has 2.0, the game may not work. The PS/VS Version on your card should be what the game needs or higher. In this case the recommended card (Geforce 8800) has PS/VS Version of 4.0 and your card (Geforce GTX 650 TI) has a PS/VS Version of 5.0, so your card meets the requirement.

I think a lot of my problems with sites like these are down to sheer panic at being faced with what's shown on a "techie" page, Jenny100 !!

You just need to know where to look.

Yup... there is a trick to filtering out all the useless numbers and zeroing in on the things Jenny mentioned above such as pixel shader etc.

I'm with Mad on this, I look at the page and my brain goes 'hot' and I can't make it work, I know its only panic but no one has told me how to switch that off
