If you have the original disc version of Syberia from 2002 it will have issues on any computer with hyperthreading or multiple processors -- not a Windows 10 problem.
Syberia is in the "Legacy games and Hyperthreading" list, and there are several comments about it on that page.

Syberia 2 never had the problem with hyperthreading because it was released two years later, when nearly all recent Pentium computers had hyperthreading and the developers knew to check for problems with it.
If you are using a
download version of Syberia from Steam, GOG, Humble, or wherever, it should be fully patched and you might want to try re-downloading and/or re-installing. Don't try to install a patch from 2003 with the modern versions.
