I can't get this game to play properly. At the beginning when I tried to do the conversation with the first man, I just get a "Wait Cursor" so I can't go down to the bottom and actually pick the conversation.
Also the "ESCAPE" button doesn't work to shut down the game, I need to use the task Mgr.

I'm playing the game on a Dell laptop. Any help would be appreciated.

Does your Dell laptop meet the system requirements?

1.5 Ghtz Intel P4 or equivalent
512 MB RAM
64 MB 3D accelerated video card

If it doesn't, you can try turning down some of the game options.

16 GB DDR4, 2400 MHZ
Nvidia GeForce MX 150 with 2 GB GDDR5 graphics memory

So, that says you have more than enough computer to play this game. Let me check my game - can't remember if I have it installed on my Windows 10 computer or not.

It looks like I uninstalled the game and I can't find my Disk 3! Sorry I can't help. Maybe Jenny will have some ideas.

All I can think of is to try the 1.6 patch.

One of the fixes listed is
"ESC Key will now display the save & quit menu"
which sounds like it fixes at least one of the problems mentioned.

I downloaded the patch and installed it but sadly it didn't fix the issues. It doesn't seem like this game is playable on my laptop. I have and older computer with WindowsXP I might try it on.

I suspect it might play just find on your old XP. Let us know... I'm curious.

Still searching for my Keepsake Disk 3!

Works fine on my Win7. Don't have the time to boot into 10.

Well it could be a video card/driver thing or an antivirus thing -- or even a Dell-specific thing since Marie has a Dell laptop. But if it works on the XP computer that would probably take less fiddling.

I know it worked on my Windows 10 computer. Unfortunately, I STILL can't find that cotton picking Disk 3!
