Keepsake Update from Steam Crashing

Hi ya'll,

I purchased the updated Keepsake game to play on Windows 10 from Steam. When I go into the ship in a bottle puzzle and run around a bit I crash every time.
Error is confusing but does mention achievement's.

I see this problem being discussed in the Steam forum for the game here. It appears that this is a problem for others as well and that for some it isn't the only crash that they experience in the game.
