crime stories maryin mystere

Just downloaded this game but get a message that virtools stopped working.can't play crime stories.never saw that before and don't know what to do.I have plenty of disc space and graphics is intel rhd 4600

Although your graphics is very low end, integrated and shares memory with the system, it still should work with this older game. I did find that the Martin Mystere games have this error with others too. What operating system are you using? It seems the virtool plugin may not work with Windows 10.

I found several more of these questions asked for this game and WIndows 8 and 10 and the same result... no answers given! I did find an answer on one thread that suggested downloading and installing the latest version of Java.

According to the "Windows 7 and Games" thread, Martin Mystere doesn't work in Windows 7, so I would think it would be unlikely to work on even newer operating systems.

Oldbroad was posting about this game in the Hints thread a while back, but I believe she was playing the game on her Windows XP computer.

OK'thanks anyway.....Oh well.

Yes, I played from the disc in Windows XP.
