I got a new computer.. I'm sooo excited!!

I am so excited, I had to post here cause you guys I am sure will share in my excitement. I've been wanting to do this for a long time. I've been looking and thinking....well I did some serious looking with the help of a wonderful woman and friend, who will remain nameless unless she steps up and says it was me! lol... Did I say we did a lot of looking and checking things out! Well I finally decided to take the leap.... I found what I wanted and actually found it with $300 off... So I ordered it! WOW..... then came the mouse issue.... so I went to Best Buy and looked at the two I wanted and decided that the Razer felt the best... this is what I bought... I have to laugh I am still setting it up.... took me 45 minutes just to figure out how to get the keyboard to stop flashing different colors. :-) . I just have to say I was blown away with the packing.. not only did they come in a box but they had custom containers that opened with the computer and cables... the container is really nice.. same with the mouse too... impressive!
A big "Thank You" to my friend, she helped me take that leap.... couldn't have done it without her. :-)

That just COULD be me! Armed with Winfrey's specs, I pointed her to multiple computers. Everything is always about balance... battery life, high end components, price etc. Asus, Acer, HP, Dell, Razer... what to buy! Winfrey made her decision and I'm SO excited for her! Wish I could be there in person!

What game are you going to christen it with?

I am not sure, I will get Wolfenstein Youngblood on July 25th when it is released.. came with the machine... just been setting it up and playing with it right now.... got a Razer mouse too.... took me awhile to figure out how to control and change the lights on both..lol.
So I might start with that unless I see something else before then... Love the mouse finally have a left handed mouse... buttons on the right side..yea!!

Winfrey, how are you liking your Blade now that you've had it for a little while? Recommend?

I like it a lot , but I t it did cost quite a bit $$$

How do you feel about the size? About the fans? About the screen resolution and brightness? About the speed and ease of use?

I like the size, I've been playing with my surface pro for about 2 years... and my desktop.... I did not want the 17 I felt that was too large.. I have a Dell XPS that is a 17 and it's big and heavy. I did not want that. The Razer 15 is nice and it's not bulky or heavy. I did not get the 4k with touch screen that would have added another $300 to it. The resolution in my opinion is great. I got the solid state so it is fast. As for ease of use it is pretty easy if you are used to computers, sounds like you are. When you first get it you have to update everything.. the customer support I did phone was great.. showed me exactly everything I needed to do and in what order... there is a software program, Razer Synapse 3, the unified hardware configuration tool that takes your Razer device to the next level. Get access to advanced options and granular control as you rebind buttons, assign macros, personalize device lighting and more.
That lets you change the buttons, colors, etc. I will get you the model of the mouse I got it even let me synchronize to my mouse pad.

Razer LANCEHEAD, bought it at best buy on a great sale.

One reason I went with the Lancehead it It is both for left and right handed people. I am left handed and was very happy to finally have a mouse I could use with my left hand.. it even has the buttons on the left and right side.
