it froze on me 3 times, i could not play it, i had to cltr, alt. del all at once.

I played this game without any freezing problems. It's not an old game either; it was released on Steam in November 2018.

yes, but i cannot i get to play and my name, 3 line and it freezes..

now i am getting a Access Violation error, julie exe has stop working.

i do not think it fully install, it is saying please see the microsoft visual studio for more information.

I can't really tell what's wrong unless you have conflicting versions of Visual C++ installed.

(I'm assuming you meant Visual C++ and not "Visual C t t" which I've never heard of.)

family, there is no Visual ctt 2010. You must be referring to the Visual C++ 2010 redistributable. If this particular game needs it, then you will need to install it. C++ is a programming language.

Where did you get the message about Visual C++? Usually it happens when you are installing a game.

I have no idea what you have here, but I would suggest uninstalling it and then making sure there are no bits left anywhere by running CCleaner on the registry or by using Revo uninstaller. Then try to install again.

That is from two years ago. I would hope they would have resolved the problems in two years before offering it at Big Fish.

You may need to uninstall whatever Visual Studio thing you installed in order to get Visual C++ 2010 to install.

Going by what you wrote, the Visual Studio thing you downloaded looks like it's for people who are making games, not for end users.

The Mac version of a game will not install or run on a PC, and I don't even see a Mac version of Julie's Sweets on Big Fish. So your game should be the right version.

OK. I can't figure this out. First you say what you have is a Mac download. I checked and there is no Mac download for this game - it is strictly a Windows game. I went to the link Jenny posted and it is NOT for a Mac.

I think you need to help us out a little bit here! Did you try uninstalling using Revo uninstaller or something like that and then reinstalling?

Since this is just a casual game, why don't you just try uninstalling it and we'll go from there.

family, there is no such thing as visual c t t. It's Visual C++. If it doesn't ask you, then just install it and see what happens. It could have just been a faulty installation before.

Family, I have this game and just downloaded it and reinstalled it to see if I could figure out what the trouble was.

When the game was almost done installing, a box popped up with that message that you described earlier: The following blocking issues must be resolved before you can install microsoft Visual C+ + etc., etc. This message didn't make sense to me, but I just ignored it because a little further down in that box it went on to say that I already had a newer version of the Visual C + +

So what I did was to cancel out of the message box by clicking on "close," and after that the game started right up.

I have to say that is a very odd and somewhat confusing message.

When did you have to hit control/alt/delete? Did you exit out of that window by hitting "close?"

You beat me to it, Marian! I was also going to ask when family did CTRL/ALT/DEL... because it matters.

Family, you will have to uninstall and reinstall again to hopefully get to the message Marian had and then just close it.

i did nothing happen, only works for window 10, i click close nothing, went inside the game CTRL/ALT/DEL, then memory error tried to read error.

This game also works on Windows 7 for me with no problems whatsoever.

The download page says that it supports Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10.

You say you went inside the game to do a CTRL/ALT/DEL... so does that mean the game will start for you?

Mac games play just fine -- on Macs.

I'm not sure what that has to do with "acting like a Mac game." family, I think you're going to have to explain what all these Mac references are about. You first said it was a Mac download, then you said the Visual page was for Macs and now you're saying it is acting like a Mac game. As Jenny says, Mac games play just fine... on Macs.

It's hard to help you out when we aren't sure what you're talking about! The game launches, but then freezes is the issue, right?

yes, when twice i click on microsoft visual studio, it sent me to 2 mac for mircosoft for mac twice.

You also said the link Jenny gave you on page 1 of this thread was for Mac, but it's not. It's for Windows. I wonder if you're getting misdirected somehow.

Maybe that link was some sort of blurb in the game, like when a game says it's using Bink media files. But Visual Studio is for developers, not customers, and you should not go to the Visual Studio website to download things, either for PC or Mac. If the game is making it look like you need Visual Studio (a developer suite) to play it, then that is a very bad user interface design.

If the game needs Visual C++ 2010 and you don't have any version of Visual C++ installed, you may need that, or possibly the version of Visual C++ that Marian has. If you uninstalled Visual C++ you may have to reinstall it.

Visual C++ 2010 is not the same thing as Visual Studio.
Some games do require installing Visual C++ if you don't have it installed from another game or through Windows Update.

And the link Jenny provided was for Visual C++ for Windows, not Mac and not Visual Studio.

Well, that's all I can think of. See what Big Fish says.

If you haven't tried creating a new profile name, try that and see if you get further.

If that doesn't work, or if you've already tried it, I think Big Fish will have to give you a coupon to choose another game.

There may be junk in your registry that is preventing the game from working, or maybe a permissions problem. Either way I think you're better off getting a credit for another game from Big Fish.

you are right, i guess i bother them, i am tried of ctlr, alt del all at once and rebooting my computer everytime.

Maybe you’d feel better if you just moved on to another game for the time being.
