Network login ?

Several times lately near the top of my screen (like right now it is just above the GameBoomers logo) there is a bar with a blue circle with an i in it and it says: You must log in to this network before you can access the Internet. Then there is a tab to click which says: Open network login page.

What is this? I never used to get this before. Obviously I am already on the Internet. I have just been closing the bar with the X on the right side, but would like to know what the heck this is if you can tell me.

This doesn't sound right. Kind of like the issue you had with Firefox earlier. You were suspicious and so was I. Can you try logging in with a different browser and see it it's still there?

Not sure what issue you are talking about. The update thing was different but not an issue. Anyway, when I clicked the link you provided, the bar went away.

Yeah, it ended up being an update. But it initially showed up as something out of the ordinary for you. Glad the link got you sorted!

It went away for now but I'm sure it will probably be back. It is only there once in awhile. I'll just keep ignoring or closing it if it does show up again.

Did you try the steps suggested to turn it off?
