Does the game require an activation code in order to play?

If so, this is not allowed for trade or sale per Trading Post rules.

The stickied post on the top of this forum says the following:

I read the install booklet that came with the game and it made no mention
of an activation code to key in to play.
Unless some other game boomer knows of it who also played the game
