Re: Easy Maths - 08/19/19 08:13 PM

6. I get two dozen

A hen and a half make an egg and a half in a day and a half which works out to 6 eggs in 6 days.
Since a half dozen hens is 4 times the number of a hen and a half, the number of eggs made in six days would be 4x6 or 24

4. 101%

(a+b+c)/3 = 73 so a+b+c = 219
(a+b+c+d)/4 = 80 so a+b+c+d = 320
d = 101
